BROADBILL
and BILLFISHER are both
immaculately maintained 13 metre
flybridge
gamefishing boats.
They both are twin Cummins
diesel powered and are equipped
with world standard fishing
equipment.
For your comfort the boats have
marine electric toilets, microwave
oven, iceboxes and eutectic
refrigeration.
The onboard electronics include
radar,G.P.S ,H.F, V.H.F and
27MHz Radios. Both boats are
in class 2C survey and naturally
comply with these safety standards.
The captains
Ross and Glenn Hunter are
a father and son team whose
reputation of being the best
has been earned by their results
over a lifetime of fishing .You
are in good hands with either
Captain.
Costs
Gamefishing. $1550.00 per day
for groups to a maximum of six
people, or $260.00 per head
per day for individuals sharing
a charter.
Costs
Reef fishing
This is negotiable, subject
to the duration of the trip.
Prices range from $1550.00 for
full day to $1300.00 for 6-hour
trip NB such discount trips
are only available mid week.
What’s
included in either Trip?
Fishing tackle is the best of
Shimano, rods and reels from
37kg to 3kg,bait, lures and
a qualified deckhand to attend
to all facets of fishing for
you.
Not
included
Lunch or drinks. Here we suggest
light food such as bread rolls,
chicken etc. something easy
that is pre-made.
Duration
of the day
Our normal day is from 7am to5pm
however we can rearrange times
to suit if desired.
What
should we bring?
Suggested items, sunscreen,
spray jacket warm clothing in
winter, tracksuit and sneakers
are perfect, seasick pills,
camera. Drinks, Alcohol is allowed,
however we insist on moderation,
spirits are not suggested.
Where
do we leave?
Both boats leave from Sans Souci
Public Wharf, Jacks ;Lane Sans
Souci.
Directions
Heading from the city, southwards.
Follow Rocky Point road to Sans
Souci, take the last turn right
at Jack’s lane, before
you go over Capt. Cook bridge,
this leads to a car park in
Sans Souci Reserve. The floating
pontoon is where the boats leave
from.
Running
late
Ring Ross 0409 047 727 or Glenn
on 0418 462 476 and advise of
the situation.
Bad
seas
Gale warnings mean the trip
will be postponed, all other
conditions are judged by the
Captain of the vessel, his decision
is final.. We do not take customers
fishing in rough seas but will
organise another trip.
Deposits
and Refunds
A deposit of $500.00 is required
to confirm your booking, we
take all credit cards except
Diners. Cheques are accepted
by arrangement. In the event
of bad weather another day will
be organised.. Deposits are
not returned .if a cancellation
is made 30 days or less prior
to the date of the trip a 30
percent fee will apply. Cancellations
less than 30 days nil refund.
The balance owing on the charter
is payable upon arrival at the
boat
Species
and seasons
Marlin, mahi mahi, wahoo, spearfish,
sailfish and assorted tunas
from October to May. Good reef
species such as Snapper, kingfish,
and morwong to name a few from
May to December. Yellowfin tuna
from May to December.
We suggest that with all fish
caught, that thought be given
to conservation, we do not allow
wholesale slaughter on our boats
and bag limits and legal sizes
are strictly adhered to. Marlin
are all tag and release, no
exceptions.
